I was thinking to myself in one of the rare instances where I'm actually eating alone in a chow hall: Am I necessarily the protagonist of the story of my life? Maybe I'm actually the antagonist and someone else is the protagonist. I'll have to consult the author as soon as I find out who's writing this dime novel.
